Kenisha

Kenisha arrived back to the hotel with her brother and Taurus. Corey had his own hotel room where all of his things were already unpacked. She had no idea how long Taurus had been planning the surprise. It was happening so fast. Kenisha barely had a chance to catch her breath. One day she was going to work living a mundane boring life and the next thing she knows she’s in a relationship with another woman, in love, casting out demons, hearing the voice of God that she’d never heard before in all of her years of going to church. She was in Niagara Falls preparing for not one but two weddings, one being her own. She was concerned that she wasn’t overwhelmed. This type of activity in the past would’ve given her such anxiety but it currently wasn’t. She was very calm and more excited than afraid. That made her question herself. Why was she so comfortable with this woman and allowing her to lead? Why was her brother so on board with this world wind activity? Kenisha felt like she needed to talk to Taurus and couldn’t wait to get into the room alone with her.

Once Corey arrived on his floor he kissed his sister and hugged his future sister in law. “I’m going to freshen up and go hit the town. I’m sure it’s plenty of trouble to get into around here. Just wait until these ladies get a load of me! The wedding isn’t until 1 o’clock. I should be back by then.” Corey laughed and did his pimp player walk toward his room. Kenisha was confused and decided to begin the conversation as they took the elevator a few floors up to their suite. “Your mother’s wedding doesn’t start until 3pm. What is Corey talking about?” Kenisha asked. They arrived at the floor and Taurus smiled and remained silent until they entered their room.

“Our wedding is at 1pm.” Taurus answered with a smile. “There’s a very nice loving minister that will be performing both weddings. Ours will be first to not take away from my mother’s day.” Taurus grabbed Kenisha by the waist and pulled her closer. “Everything is already taken care of. I know that you’re prone to worry but it’s safe to not be worried too you know.” Kenisha was taken back. She’d forgotten that every now and then Taurus did seem to hit the nail right on the head with what Kenisha was thinking.

“Are we moving too fast?” Kenisha asked as she placed her head on Taurus’ chest. “No.” Taurus replied. “According to what I comprehended in the spirit we aren’t moving fast enough.” Taurus kissed Kenisha and went to start the shower. “We should get some rest. We do have to marry each other tomorrow.” Kenisha laughed as Taurus closed the bathroom door behind her. Kenisha pulled out the veil that Ginger had purchased for her earlier. She stretched it across the bed and cried tears of joy. She finally had a life.
